Stone in left ureter
As per ultrasound report I have 6-7 mm size of stone in left ureter. Can it be treated without ureteroscopy or lithotripsy ? For a week I have taken alpha blockers which allowed the stone to slide a bit down and now it is in lower ureter at L5 level as per IVP test. Please advise.

Hello, ureter is not straight in length ,it has got bend at lower end .So its difficult to flush it out. Less than 5 mm stones would have flushed out easily. But if want to take chance you can weight, otherwise go for lithotripsy ,it breaks stone into finer particles. It's non surgical method. Drink 2-3 litres of water daily. Avoid high protein containing foods .
