Can the Kidney stone of 16 mm dissolved
During a general body check up, the abdomen scan showed a stone in kidney. So The CT scan was taken and the report shows "Right kidneys is normal in size, shape, contour, attenuation and enhancement pattern.Pelvicalycial system is compact. Calculus in upper calyx meas. 1.2 x 1.5 x 1.6cm(AP x MLx CC)(Avg.Hu+700). ". doctor said for ESWL is not recommended and asked to get it removed by ureteroscopy. Kindly suggest if it can be dissolved or is there anyway to solve the problem. At present I don't have symptoms.
