Stone in gallbladder

Asked for Female, 30 Years

My wife have gallbladder stone of 15.4 mm size, sometimes she have mild pain in abdomen. Is it necessary to operate immediately ? I mean which size of stone may be dangerous ?

Size has no relevance in gall bladder stones treatment till the time it is 3 cms or more Symptomatic gall stones need cholecystectomy which seems to be the case here
