Stomach ache
I took a stool softener about 4 days ago and my entire abdominal area has been aching in various ways and my stools have been on irregular schedules.
I feel an ache in my stomach after I eat and some pain in my lower abdomen before I have a bowel movement.

It will be a temporary effect of stool softener. It ll get better. Keep going for toilet whenever you have the sensation , even after the meal. Do not try to control or postpone it. That's not good. If you keep going for natural call without restriction, irregularity will normalise very fast
