What to do else??? What these symptoms indicate??? I should ryah to hospital or manage it at home.Plz help
If baby is playful again after fever is resolved and accepts feed then you can wait. But if fever doesn’t resolve and baby doesn’t accept feed and is still lethargic, then you have to visit hospital.

Hello,
The symptoms you have mentioned are more suggestive of a viral illness. The vomiting could be due to a blocked nose you can use Nasoclear saline nasal drops, wait a few minutes, clear the nose if needed.
You can give paracetamol if fever spikes are more than 100.4F. Maintain record of temperature, give syrup 6 hourly, and do sponging of body..maintain hydration give more of fluids and monitor urine output.
Kindly note if your baby is lethargic, seems unwell , has persistent vomiting, fast breathing, diarrhoea, or abnormal movements (seizures) consult your paediatrician.
Since your baby is less than 3 months old and has fever (101°F), vomiting, and poor feeding, I recommend taking her to the nearest pediatric emergency department or hospital today for evaluation. Most babies have a viral illness, but at this age we must also rule out serious bacterial infections such as a urinary tract infection or bloodstream infection. Continue breastfeeding, give paracetamol only in the correct weight-based dose, and avoid starting antibiotics without a pediatrician’s assessment.
given CALPOL syrup is very high dosage for child . Not given baby’s weight . Needs CALPOL drops instead of dyrup . Kindly meet nearby paediatrician for a general exam . After weight check up and exam appropriate medications will be given
Greetings
fever in any infant under 3 months of age is a medical emergency that requires prompt evaluation by a pediatrician to rule out serious underlying infections. The added symptoms of recurrent vomiting and refusal to feed put a small infant at high risk for rapid dehydration.Do not attempt to manage these combined symptoms at home or give further medication without a direct physical examination by a healthcare provider.
