Don't worry about stitches think about no post op complications. If u don't want stitches then go for lap hernia repair

It depends on the surgeon/ the length of the incision, but though it is not a worrying thing to be kept in mind the number of stitches, what mandates the outcome is the healing process how good it is , so don’t worry at all
