Surgery stitches
I have got cyst removal surgery on my neck.
Will the stitches needs to be removed or it will go away on their own?
My doctor is in another city and has not given any note to come back for stitches removal. Please suggest as I'm unable to find the difference between the two,

After surgery dressing will have to be done after 3-4 days.
When you go for dressing, that doctor can tell you if stitch are absorable or not.

It depends on the type of suture used, you need to a visit any doctor (it’s a very simple step to remove the stitches if needed). If they are not dissolvable then they need to be removed
