Stiffness in ankle after removing cast
I have stiffness in my ankle area and in my leg since my ankle got fractured. But after keeping my leg in fiber cast for almost 2 months the leg has become stiff due to immobilasation. I do ankle exercise for decreasing the stiffness but can anyone tell what are the other home remedies as well which can help more in decreasing the stiffness.

Chiropractic adjustment will help. Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Hello, Home remedies like hit formentation will definitely help you. But my advise to you to meet a Physiotherapist asap. As stiffness after cast is bit obvious and it can be removed only via mobilization of joint which a specialized Physiotherapist can do. Need not worry about it. It can corrected with proper Rehabilitation.
Next Steps
Consult a Physiotherapist asap
Health Tips
Avoid long time hanging of legs which could lead to swelling also

Put a foot in a bucket filled with warm water and move your ankle in circles 2-3 times in a day. Keep doing ankle exercises throughout the day. This will help in reducing stiffness. Consult a nearby Physiotherapist for a proper treatment and Home exercise program. Thank you

Stiffness is normal after the cast is removed, and to get full range and strength back physiotherapy is highly recommended. At home apply hot pack few times a day, stretch ankle muscles as much as possible , and move your foot as much as possible in sitting, walk as much as possible to improve foot coordination.
Health Tips
Avoid playing any sports till you get full movement and strength of your foot.
