My Father had a stent recently . For how long should all medications be taken ? I heard that it should be taken Atleast for one year . One to one and half year is crucial and restenosis might happen .. is it true

He should be on 2 blood thinner for atleast 1 year later which can be reduced to 1. Cholesterol lowering medicine should continue for lifetime and should be achieve LDL level less than 55 so that restenosis is avoided.
