My Father had a stent recently . For how long should all medications be taken ? I heard that it should be taken Atleast for one year . One to one and half year is crucial and restenosis might happen .. is it true

He should be on 2 blood thinner for atleast 1 year later which can be reduced to 1. Cholesterol lowering medicine should continue for lifetime and should be achieve LDL level less than 55 so that restenosis is avoided. Rest any other medicines for hypertension or diabetes or other systemic problems also to be continued. So it's an ongoing process which needs to be titratrated
