STD Testing Timeline
I was diagnosed with trichomonas and UTI post a sexual exposure. I did a STD panel testing 3 months later which is all negative. Want to know if this is conclusive or repeat testing is needed anytime later as I have got mixed responses from doctors. My panel had these tests - HIV 1/2 & P24 combo, RPR, TPHA, HBsAg Antigen and HCV Antibody

A test done 3 months after exposure is generally reliable for HIV, syphilis and Hepatitis B, so a negative result at that stage is good news for those three. Trichomonas and a UTI are not covered by this panel at all, they need their own swab or urine test to confirm they have actually cleared.
Next Steps
Check with your gynaecologist whether a repeat swab or urine culture is needed to confirm the trichomonas and UTI have resolved. For Hepatitis C specifically, some protocols recommend one more test at 6 months for complete certainty, so ask if that applies to your case.
Health Tips
Go back sooner if any discharge, burning or pelvic discomfort returns, since that points to the original infections needing a recheck regardless of this panel.
