Stainless steel implant ( intra)
I have a stainless Steel implant in my shin for the past 15 years .I didnt remove it within the first year . I would like to know if it is harmful and the doctors says it may be difficult to remove it. Is it safe to keep?

No harm in keeping it. It would be difficult to remove it after 20 years and unnecessarily harmful to the bone when attempted to remove it.
