Squamous cell carcinoma
My cousin is 46 years old. He was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on 25/01/2023. He underwent chemo and radiation therapy. He also went under mouth surgery on 24 april2023 to remove cancer tumour. Again diagnosed on 28/12/2023 . It is spreading. Doctors recommended pembrolizumab monotherapy. I want your 2nd opinion. Is doctors recommending right therapy or alternate options are there? This cancer is curable or helpful to get how many  more years life. I have attached all reports. Please study reports and give some suggestions

Hi     Your cousin is probably having stage 4 oral cavity cancer which is unfortunately non curable. Sorry for your cousin. But we can give palliative therapy.  PEMBROLIZUMAB is a type of immunotherapy which is helpful if CPS score note than or equal to 20. Otherwise it is combined with chemotherapy. Also we can give immunotherapy as monotherapy if cancer has spread within 6 months of chemotherapy
