Penile cancer in squamous cell SITU
Hi. I have diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma in SITU in penise foreskin and surgery done and PET CT done no spread. I have a doubt any chance spread to my wife.. I don't know few months back  I had intercourse with my wife... After only I came to know the I had a this issues in penile. Pl suggest.. We are scary... But my wife has no symptoms. Thanks.

Hi,    First of all you are lucky that your cancer got detected in early stage itself which doesn't require further therapy after surgery such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Also cancer won't spread to your partner

No sexual transmission for cancer . No risk of spread of cancer from one person to another by any sort of contact . HPV which is an infection - which is a common risk factor could actually be spread , advise your wife to have Pap smear and HPV testing every 5 yearly .
