Sprain is a diagnosis made by the clinician. So if you have twisted your ankle or any joint in the body, it could lead to a sprain or a fracture. An x-ray will be required to diagnosed either of those. Sprain is a partial ligament tear. Complete rest should be given to the joint involved. Apply ICE and do not Massage. Place the limb in elevation using 1-2 pillows until you get an X-ray.
Next Steps
x-ray of the concerned part tab. Aceclofenac Twice daily after meals tab. Pantoprazole once daily before breakfast
Health Tips
do not Massage over the injured area do not walk until am x-ray is taken or pain subsides
