This is melasma. It's a  condition in which brown patches appear on the face. Melasma can be due to hormonal changes or from sun exposure. Women are much more likely than men to develop this condition. Medication is available for the same. If not treated on tine these patches will spread and take more time to improve. Consult a Dermatologist for the same.
