Spo2 after spirometry
Hi doctor,
I was covid patient 21 days back and doctor prescribed spirometry for lungs excercise. When I do 2 min of spirometry excersie and measure SpO2 the ln it comes around 92-93-94. If I wait for 5 mim after that then it sp02 comes to 98-99. I tried 6 min walk also and it always stays near 96-98. Does spirometry excercise decrease sp02 this much?? It is normal behaviour. My chest ct score was 12.

Spirometry should not reduce spo2 upto this level . Would like to see the CT findings . Are you on steroids ? Kindly consider for a personal consult for detailed discussion
