Spinal Fracture from car accident
Hi sir, I m 32 years, a month ago i was travelling in car which jumped high on speed breaker. I have visited the hospital and got my xray and ct done.1 doc asked me to have 1month bedrest and other doc says it need 3 month bedrest.. Also one says its l2 spine minor fracture an othrr ssys something else. So please clarify me if what type of fracture i have also they says i have minor compression in nerve. But i am able to walk and move all my fingers. Sometimes i feel pain in one of toe. Please i am so scared. Check my attached Xray and ct scans

Yes fracture is there , fracture is stable variety , As you are moving ur toes and walking then neurology is normal . Nerve compression we can’t say from CT scan .

Wear Taylor brace while moving out of bed , Avoid forward bending , squatting , sitting on floor , You can start physiotherapy to strengthen your back muscle gradually after getting xray Vit D supplements

L2 fracture can be appreciated on ct scan. Take rest for 3 months ( 1 month strict bed rest)  & wear Taylor 's brace later for mobilization after 1 month.
Next Steps
Get mri spine to rule out  retropulsion & nerve compression now .You can review with reports. xray ls spine ap lateral & review after 1 month.
