Spinal canal stenosis and neck stenosis
What is spinal stenosis and neck stenosis? I Took mri of lumbar spine and neck . i have L5S1  lumbar stenosis with 0.88 Ap cms .so doctor said it's common and minor issue.so what should I do ? It's curable or not. My symptoms is numbness of legs and weakness of legs and back pain.

Canal stenosis means narrowing of the canal from where the nerves exit of spine to travel down to legs…. And it’s curable with medical treatment and physical therapy ( even before u think of any surgical treatment) But having said that….

Stenosis is any narrowing of the spinal canal, essentially reducing the space for your nerves and causing pressure on them. This leads to the symptoms of pain, numbness and weakness. It is treatable with medications, physiotherapy and needs surgery if your nerve function is getting affected.

It is narrowing of canal, which lead to compression of nerve --> so the numbness over the legs It is curable.
