Hi. Buzzing sound in the ear after an episode of cough and fever could mean an infection. It is best to get it evaluated in detail. A pure tone audiometry with an impedance audiometry would be helpful in making the diagnosis. It will also require clinical examination of the nose. I would suggest that you visit an ENT specialist near you for further evaluation. Warm regards, Dr Aanchal A Mittal, Therapeia centre, Bangalore
