Hello,
I want to go for sonography test for detecting pregnancy. Kindly suggest prerequisites for the same. Like do I need to drink lot of water and if I can take meal before sonography.

Yes to do a transabdominal scan you will need to have a full bladder. In case the doctor is not able to see clearly through the abdominal route they may ask you to empty the bladder and perform transvaginal scan. You can eat and go.
