This is why we ENT Surgeons have been crying out hoarse in all the media... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN YOUR OWN EAR CANALS... EVEN WITH COTTON BUDS! You will either push the wax and debris further into the ear or as in your case damage your eardrum! The whistling or buzzing sounds you are hearing is called Tinnitus and is a sign of a damaged eardrum! Please consult a good ENT Specialist who will examine your ears and treat you appropriately!
