Some Past Experiences Keeps Coming
Hello Respected Sir, Since WFH, some past incidents (both good and bad) keeps coming in remembrance and somehow it compares with the current situation like previously we were having office culture and atmosphere but now we are working from home. Some other memories and time which we had spent together and now that all lost. Sometimes when I sleep specially in afternoon, it all comes in dreams and even the work I am doing. Currently I have joined Gym for exercise and it helps me to have better sleep but how to get over from these old experiences will you please guide me?. Not only while sleeping but these old incidents keeps running in my mind and that comparison with previous situations is also continuous with that and due to that somehow I feel restlessness. It doesn't impact my focus but feels like I am doing everything without having mood like losing all the interests. I know this is normal in this situation but is there anything which can help in overcoming from this all?

The sudden change in lifestyle and environment can lead us to go back in past memories to find comfort coz for brain it is hard to move on from what is likeable. But continueously overthinking over it, suggests that you havent adjusted with the situation and time. consult a nearest psychologist to help you be in present and enhance your adjustment capabilities. Hi... What are these incidents/memories that are reoccurring in your thoughts and dreams? Do they belong to a particular person/environment or they're more generic - like office space, chit chat, tea time talks, etc? If this is a reoccurring thought/dream sequence, it may be a disguised expression of your inner conflicts.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist and start taking Counselling Sessions. Regulating your routine in terms of proper and timely Meals, Sleep, Exercise, and Breathing/Meditation will help you get back your control over your mood.
