SolvinCold AF syrup dosage for 10 month
My pediatrician suggested SolvinCold AF syrup for my 10 month old kid. He is having running nose and sneezing. Dosage suggested is 5ml for 3 times a day. Is it safe to give 5ml? Is it not overdose? Just needed second opinion

Usually till 1year it is better to prescribe drop form of medicine.. Syp is for older children. So it would have been better had doctor prescribed drop form. Regarding dose:It depends upon weight of child.. Usually for Child around 10months dosage would be around 2.5ml not 5ml.

Dosage depends on weight please don’t worry if prescribed by qualified paediatrician. Not those who by working experience are seeing and treating children in nooks and corners of even major cities not able to grasp by even educated people.
Next Steps
Ideally the dose should be 3.5 ml if the baby weight is around 10 kg
Health Tips
Don’t allow cold water or cold air to come in contact.
