1) Now today your baby is 5 months old. You can start complementary feeding at end of this month.. firstly start only liquid food. You can start cow milk, curd, khichri , messed potato. you can give 1 spoon atleast 3 times per day after 6 months of age and gradually increase complementary feeding while need to continue breastmilk till 2 years of age. After 9 months you can start semi solid food 2 -3 spoon 4-5 times per day .. then gradually you can give solid food. 2) yes ma'am you can give salt and sugar to the baby after age of 6 months in complementary food. 3) curd , cow milk , buttermilk , boiled potato, banana , apple , Raab , khichri , boiled rice , dal etc..
Next Steps
Patients should increase amount of complementary feed ...by that time need to continue breastfeeding.
Health Tips
Do not give spicy food to child, do not introduce very hot food ..
