The air sinuses are meant to contain air, which looks black on xray and CT scan. Soft tissue haziness means that it is not black, rather it may show thickening of the lining of the sinus. Yes, it may cause post nasal drip. Please post all your symptoms, duration, progression, comorbidities, full CT scan report with pictures of the CT films.
