Soar throat and fever.
My 1 year 11 month old son has problem in swallowing food. He has soar throat and fever as well.

Give steam inhalations and hot fluids to drink.
Give him soft items in the diet which are easy to swallow.
Use paracetamol for fever and throat pain,give it regularly every 6 hours for 3 days.
If pain is so severe that he can't swallow even fluids,consult your paediatrician asap.
