So has fever and upset stomach
Hello, my son is now 1 month old and he is feeling very uneasy and crying. Stomach seems bloated and mild fever. No poop since 2 days. His BCG vaccination mark is also red and swollen. Can all this and baby's uneasiness be because of BCG vaccination's swollen mark? What can be done for upset stomach and his discomfort? Thanks

At around 30 -45 days of life babies get pain in stomach called as evening colic. It’s a normal developmental thing and nearly all babies experience that. Typically baby will be normal and playful in morning hours and as day goes off he/she starts feeling uneasy and cries. You can use colicaid drop 5 drops if baby becomes too much uncomfortable. This medicine gives relief only for few hours. BCG vaccination site becomes red and swollen after around 4 weeks and then can even have some discharge. That’s normal way of reaction to BCG vaccine. You don’t need to anything for that . It is a painless swelling.

It's probably INFANTILE COLIC which is common at this age.Its not related to BCG vaccination. You may give Drop COLICAID 6 DROPS (WITH MOTHER'S MILK) for relief.
