Sounds like allergic rhinitis. You’ll have to take antihistamines. Monteleukast alone will not help. Also you’ll have to start a steroid nasal spray. Fluticasone FT 2 puffs twice a day in both nostrils and use it with your head leaning forward. Take it for 15 days then reduced the dose to once a day. Take antihistamine Levocetirizine once at bedtime for 5 days. Dust mites are not visible to the naked eye so make sure you wash all your bed linen weekly and dry it in the sun. Old books can also contain dust mites. Maintain a good nasal hygiene. Do saline nasal douching twice a day. (Nasowash)
