Avoid taking Antihistamines for such long durations. They should be taken for short durations only during an acute episode of cold/ runny nose. Instead if you have allergic rhinitis I would suggest you take a Nasal Spray- Austril/ Flomist( Fluticasone Ft) nasal spray. 2 puffs twice a day. Take it with head leaning forward and nozzle of spray at the nostril. These sprays have been recommended by WHO, as safe for allergic rhinosinusitis for long term use as the drug is present in micrometerered doses and are absorbed locally in the nose.
