  4. Small knot on left oblique. Serious?

Small knot on left oblique
My wife has a small knot on her left oblique, hurts when pressure is applied but feels fine otherwise. Just a knot? Or slight hernia possible? She isn’t too worried and doesn’t want to go to the dr unless it’s serious. Is there anything else it could be and/or should we be worried for something more serious?
