Small drop out in heart for fetal
I had tiffa scan at 18 weeks..in the report i can see EIF cardiac left ventrical and small drop out at interventricular septum 1.5mm..i have done done NT scan at 13 weeks which is 1.5mm i haven't done double marker test...is this fetal cardiac prblm because of the chromosomal abnormality..i have give a sample to test quad screen but the report will come after 10 days..please help..

Hi.. good morning... Don't worry... Most of the time such defects heals on its own. As baby still in developing stage , this is a part of development.
To rule out any major defect you should get fetal echo done at 24 weeks. And wait for quadruple marker test. Hope for the best.
