Slow rising HCG levels
My HCG levels are very slow rising. I did IUI on the 21th day of my period same day I ovulated. Now I'm 6 wks 6 days pregnant by lmp but last scan (on last Friday) only gestational sac of 3.6mm was found. Endometrium thickness was 16mm. I'm taking estrogen and progesterone tablets. My problem is that my HCG levels aren't rising. Please somebody give me a reply. I need to see yolk sac and embryo with heartbeat in my next scan acc to wht my doctor said. But I'm worried that I'm not producing enough HCG hormone. It's slow rising. Not doubling even after checking in 4 days. IS HCG HORMONE IMPORTANT FOR DEVOLOPING YOLK SAC & EMBRYO ? Am I able to see these only if I have very good HCG values ??? Please reply !!!

HCG is produced by the cells around the embryo. If the pregnancy is progressively well, hcg doubles in 2 to 3 days. If pregnancy is not developing well, hcg will be produced in less quantity and less quantity enters  mothers blood (I'm sorry if I hurt you). Also ovulation happened on 21st day, so your pregnancy dating will be 1 week late, 5 to 6 weeks.
Next Steps
USG has to be repeated after 10days (embryo n heart beat will be seen between 6 to 7 weeks). to continue all medications. To relax till then.
