Slipped of pavement. sprained left leg
Landed heavily on left leg from a 1ft high pavement 25 days ago. prognosis was 5 of nerve damage around the calf muscle area, and have been taking medication since, with a follow-up consultation leading to the same prognosis. Pain still remains, leg ( ankle and feet area) swells so much with a 10m walk to the bathroom. Considering a different consult. Which speciaist is best to consult? Ortho , Ortho specialised in sports medicine and injuries, Nuero or else?? I am 70 years old, taking regular medication for diabetes and hypertension. Thanks in advance

You should preferably consult an orthopaedic surgeon and if possible someone specialising in foot and ankle surgery.
