Slightly overweight
I am 54 years old Male. I have been regularly practicing and running half marathon since last 6 years. My height is 5'8". I weigh 74Kgs presently. I am vegetarian and have been diagnosed with borderline sugar (Between 115 and 130 fasting). Last year I could not practice well, could not run due to some injury of ankle. Since one year I have put on approx 4-5 Kg. Now I am trying hard to shed those extra Kilos, by ensuring that I have healthy food, minimum or no oil, no Ghee, no fried food, no sugar, quantity also restricted. I am though not successful. Can you please advise.
