Your medical history can be one confounding factor in disturbed sleep duch as uncontrolled blood pressure or glucose levels may be interfering with your sleep, but the specific burning sensation that you have described appears to be more psychological in origin. Kindly meet a psychiatrist in person to explore for any other anxiety symptoms in detail and also seek opinion on the sleeping pill that you are taking. He will help you with medication or sleep hygiene techniques.
