Having vivid dreams in itself is not a problem, except it indicates your mood in wakeful STS state. But if the contents are interfering in your day to day activities, then you might be suffering from depression, for which you should take Consultation. Sleep paralysis is a normal phenomenon. But if it occurs too often then there might be something wrong with your sleep hygiene. All in all, a somnological consultation will be beneficial.
