Awakening in first 2- 3hours of sleep with confused talking some time only scream, whole episode is of 5-15 seconds and does not remember abt episode.primary diagnosed of sleep disorder after to normal EEG, currently on 3 mg melatoninfrm last month with 50 % less episodes of sleep disorder.

As you have described,it seems to be night terrors,common at this age,but is just a passing phase. Medication is usually not indicated,but if prescribed by your paediatrician and showing results,you may continue.
