My niece is having races on skin he is only 6years of old it keeps itching on skin. Dr have done various test but now Dr has suggested to do skin biopsy test . why skin biopsy test done please help bcoz we are worried bcoz we have read on internet it is done for understanding if having skin cancer.Please help he small.

Hi, Dr umesh here,There are various skin conditions which can present like that, Dr might have suggested it for confirmation and better treatment.
Don't worry it won't be cancer.
