Hi,
Few years ago I had brought few boxes of different brands and texture condoms. I brought these to try condoms because of curiosity. I'm virgin btw
I used them daily when ever I jerked off, initially everything was good but after few days I could feel uncomfortable while wearing kamasutra brand so I changed to Skore, Manforce, Intens and Moods(flavored and unflavoured). These were better but still I could feel little uncomfortable and I never used condoms after trying these.
I think after a year or so, white patches begun appearing on foreskin with little burning sensation and it was not going away with almost all creams suggested by doctor.
Finally doctor advised circumcision and I got that done(half skin), white patches went away leaving behind marks. Then after a year it started appearing with very small white line on foreskin, dermatologist told it looks like LP and with momin cream it got cured.
Questions:
I think condoms caused this, so in future what to use? Any brands etc?

Do you have a condom allergy?
Condoms do not directly cause Lichen Planus, but they can act as an indirect trigger in some individuals—especially due to latex sensitivity, chemical irritation, or friction.
It is unlikely that Condoms caused this. You should consult your Dermatologist again and ask them what is the likely cause of this (if it is Lichen Planus, then the cause is autoimmune and can be triggered by medicines or infections)
Also, my suggestion would be to get a Diabetes testing done if anyone in your family is taking treatment for it. Because Diabetes can also lead to local infections.
Hi.. if it's an allergy caused by condoms it will be immediate. Not after a year. So.. mostly not . However consult your dermatologist and follow the treatment as advised by them
Detailed history with clear images are required for correct diagnosis and treatment. It may not be because of condoms as they appeared after an year of use. But the discomfort caused by condoms should be elaborated to guide you properly
