Freckels are notorious. They respond to laser treatment but can recur. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen always. Lasers will also help in pigment clearing from the face.
Acne treatment has multiple stages - to control new breakouts, to clear the sequalae (pigmentation and scars) and to prevent a relapse.
If you have active acne lesions, it should be controlled on priority basis.
Dandruff and acne are simultaneously seen in many patients.
Remember combining treatment modalities help to achieve desired results earlier.
