Hi there could be the following reasons why your skin is going dark. first -  in thyroid disorders there is dryness and dullness of the skin. 2nd- ageing itself and the hormonal changes also associated with the same. 3rd- some medication associated hypertension can also darken skin. Please start using a ph balanced face wash so you do not dehydrate the skin. also use a good moisturiser and sunscreen. Eat healthy and do exercise.
