Skin problem
I have dark circle around my lips. It sometimes gets even more darker and sometimes gets lighter but never disappears. It gets even worse when I do makeup as it gets highlighted then. This issue is with me since so many years. What should I do to treat this?

There are many reasons for pigmentation around lip area. If possible please send a picture. Common causes are frequent lip licking, darkening due to cosmetics like lip sticks,fragrances in lip balms, toothpastes. Rarely it could be hormonal reasons. I would suggest not to apply any make up product for now, avoid licking lips if you have a habit of doing so. Use sunscreen daily. Skin lightening creams can be prescribed by a skin specialist. Avoid self medication.
