We need to check your skin before doing any procedures, dull skin may be due to lot of reasons like pigmentation, dead skin, loose skin, wrinkles and other signs of sun damage.Once we figure out the problem we can decide what treatment is best for you and number of sessions will depend on your condition. Skin polishing or microdermabrasion is the procedure in which we remove the dead skin layer and also stimulate deep skin with suction pressure. Once your dead skin layer clears,  new layer of skin appears which is smooth has more even tone and also has better ability to maintain hydration.Again number of sessions will depend on your skin condition.
Next Steps
Daily use of proper sunscreen as per your skin type will help.
Health Tips
Avoid home based remedies like lemon, etc as it can damage the face if not used properly
