Skin itching ,xerosis like symtoms
My father is 83 yrs old . He has diabetes and BP and is under medication for same. Now he is complaining of intense body itching specially during night time.he is not able to sleep due to this.Has xerosis like symtoms.Please advise on this.

It can be xerosis or senile pruritus or Scabies...
Need to be treated correctly to prevent further damage to skin
Need complete evaluation and history for accurate diagnosis, After that correct treatment options can be provided
Use calamine lotion for now
