dryness is root cause of itching..since areas u mention lost deir natural architect it cudnt keep itself moist n irritate skin..u might b thinking hw in summer wen we sweat alot dryness cud b the reason..so u need to understand those areas r nt involved in sweating n adjacent areas which actively sweating furthur hv dessication effect..so on skin it might look wet bt inside its dry n u knw our skin is almost impermeable to water..

so funda is nt to let these areas getting dessicated so dat it cud hold moisture apply Vaseline over these area..its best to keep dem moist..nxt to decrease itching u cn locally apply calamine lotion
