So, I had flu like symptoms about 1-2 weeks ago along with some facial pain. Well, the symptoms subsided for about two days and I thought I got rid of the flu.
But, now the cough still persists and I've mild facial pain. I think it's Sinusitis. I'm afraid, what are the chances of having some complications? What remedies should I do to ensure a safe recovery?
I've read a lot on the Internet but still unsure about how quick the recovery will be, whether I have sinusitis or not... I'm a bit afraid of other complications.
So, please give some insight. Also, how can I identify which of my sinuses are infected?
I'm a 15 year old male living in India (my 10th grade exams are close too!)

Drink plenty of fluids, such as water or juice. This will help dilute mucous secretions and promote drainage. Avoid beverages that contain caffeine or alcohol, as they can be dehydrating. Drinking alcohol can also worsen the swelling of the lining of the sinuses and nose.
Moisten your sinus cavities. Drape a towel over your head as you breathe in the vapor from a bowl of hot water. Keep the vapor directed toward your face. Or take a hot shower, breathing in the warm, moist air. This will help ease pain and help mucus drain.
Apply warm compresses to your face. Place warm, damp towels around your nose, cheeks and eyes to ease facial pain...Consult nearest ent specialist they will do the needful.
