Sinus Infection
Hi doctor, I am suffering from sinus infection from last 6 month. Previously I took himalayan septilin tablets for 45days but it were not effective then I consulted a online doctor. I took the medicines prescribed by doctor for 5 days. I felt little better but still suffering from sinus infection. Please advice what to do to get rid of sinus completely. Symptoms - pain at nose Bridge, sneezing and headaches.

Long term sinusitis ,produces recurrent headachedand nose blocks.It is better to take a holistic approach, meaning medications and lifestyle modifications.

medications:   start topical steroids( nasal spray)    fluticasone and azelastine combination spray,  2puffs on each nostril ,morning and night. x 3.mnths T Cetrizine. 0-0-1,   when symtpoms are not in control lifestyle changes:   1) steam inhalation. twice a day. 2)double mask at the time of house work. 3) cover your ears with cotton to reduce the impact of cold,  wearing home footwear ,mufflers and sweaters,  room temperature control heaters 4) intake of fruit everyday. (citrus) to increase your immunity
