I'm using specs of -1.0 power for both eyes. I want to get rid of it. What may be the side effects for Lasik Refractive Surgery ?

I totally understand your problem.
Lasik eye surgery is a very good ans effective surgery to the people who hate glasses to put on. But it has some minimal side effects like glare, haloes, difficulty in night driving, vision fluctuations, dry eyes these are such side effects of lasik eye surgery.
You may proceed to it without any doubt but after the surgery you need to use eyedrops for 1 year because of dry eyes and also you will have redness and burning sensation for 15- 20 days.
