Side effect or medicine is working fine
My 3 years son is diagnose for adenotonsillitis and doctor prescribed for Augmentin syrup for 5 days. before he was having stuffy nose. after completion of this medication of 3 days my son is suffering from cold and running nose. Before the mucus was yellow/pink and from today it is showing clear watery. Is it a side effect of the medicine or the medicine is working fine?

Your son must have had viral upper respiratory tract infection which presents initially as adeno-tonsillitis. Eventually it will have symptoms of cold and cough. You may need to add anti cold medicines and cough syrups to his treatment
