Hi Sir,
I am having shoulder joint instability problem for past few years. This happens when I move my hand above or side ways of the shoulder after some angle. This is also happening on sudden body shock or if fall down unexpectedly or slip. It is very painful and luckily am able to set my joint back to normal position. I was a former martial art student and have fell and slipped down many times leading to this. Kindly please suggest the treatment and also about surgery tips.

Symptomatic instability usually requires surgery. With every dislocation some damage occurs to anterior glenoid. Which type of surgery (soft tissue repair or bony) depends on extent of damage.
